Try different beers and different soup mixes to vary the taste of the sandwich meat.

Ingredients

  • 3 pound beef chuck roast
  • 1 14 oz can beef broth
  • 1 12 oz can beer
  • 1 envelope savory herb soup mix
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning mix
  • provolone cheese
  • kaiser rolls or hamburger buns

Instructions

Place roast in crockpot, cut to fit if necessary. Sprinkle soup and seasoning mix over roast, pour beef broth and beer over all. Cover and cook on low 10 hours or high 5 hours.

Remove roast from crockpot and shred meat. Serve on rolls or buns with cheese.
