A favorite dessert in our household, it’s often called ‘apple pie without the crust’.
For a little extra sweetness, put apples in a bowl and stir in 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan. In bowl, combine oats, spices, flour, and sugars, mix well. Add butter, stir or cut in until moistened.
Spread part of oat mixture on bottom of pan, sprinkle with apples, top with remaining oat mixture. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until crust is brown and apples are tender.
