These spicy appetizers are a favorite of ours!

We've used both fresh and canned jalapenos for this recipe and often the canned are spicier than the fresh.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 16 medium size, tail off, devienned shrimp
  • 16 seeded jalapeno peppers

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Cook bacon until partially cooked but not yet crispy. Stuff each pepper with a spoonful of cream cheese, a shrimp, and then wrap with 1/2 a slice of bacon; use toothpicks to secure. Bake 15-20 minutes, until cream cheese is bubbly.
