Just like having cooked ground beef, I like having cooked chicken around too. I love having already cooked chicken to throw into soups, casseroles, or basically anything! If it’s frozen, it thaws quickly. Best of all, it doesn’t make your kitchen stink like boiled chicken, and tastes better too!
This recipe gives just enough flavor, but is completely universal and doesn't distract from the flavor of whatever dish you're adding it to.

Place chicken in crock pot. Pour in water and bouillon cubes and sprinkle spices over chicken. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or 4-5 hours on high. Cube or shred. Can be served immediately, added to meals, or frozen.
