It’s summertime, which for our family means a nice mixture of crockpot meals and sides and grilling. This year I’ve decided to experiment with way more than just your average steak, burgers, brats, or chicken.
Not to say that I haven’t grilled anything else – we loved grilled fish, grilled veggies, anything to keep the heat out of the kitchen on those hot humid summer days. I meant I’m on a mission to try new marinades, new recipes, new things to try.
Last night I wanted tuna steak. And vegetables. Lots of crisp, crunchy, yummy vegetables. Since I only made them once this week, I made Veggie Spring Rolls again. After devouring those, my hubby said “do you really want to eat more?”. At that point I pulled out the tuna steak, opened the lid and had him smell the marinade. He immediately fired up the grill.
This recipe was found on Recipe.com, where they note that it’s from The Food Channel. The marinade is cut in half (we only needed it for two tuna steaks) and I changed a couple things to reflect what we had.
For more zip, add more chili paste!
