If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, you’ve no doubt read that Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it: apple orchards, cooler weather, the kids going back to school, football, and of course, the cooking. My youngest takes after me – she loves fall too!
All summer long we grill out. My husband refuses to cook in the kitchen in the summertime because to him heating up the house when our air conditioner is working so hard to keep it cool seems contradictory. When autumn arrives and cooler weather is upon us, I immediately get the urge to fill my crockpot with delicious soups, stews, and hearty meals. I get an urge to bake too: breads, muffins, bars, cookies.
Once Fall is upon us, I have a few recipes that I do almost immediately. These are recipes we haven’t had all summer long and are our favorites, so it’s a treat when we finally have them again!
Crockpot Recipes I Make Every Fall
We also make a big batch of my husband’s chili. Do you have recipes you make once cooler weather arrives? What are your favorite fall recipes?
