These pork chops are so easy and so delicious!  I just love five ingredient recipes.

My family loves when I make mashed potatoes, because that often means one thing:  Shepherd's Pie the next day with the leftover potatoes.  Of course, I always want the prep time to be as quick as possible so I came up with this!

I know, it's only December 1st.  But in our family we are already planning Christmas dinner.  In fact, we are often planning Christmas dinner while enjoying our pumpkin pie after Thanksgiving meal (which this year was non-traditional as well - no turkey).  This 'non-traditional Christmas dinner' is a tradition that started for my family years and years ago and like many family traditions, it is beloved.

I have made plenty of chowders but wanted this one to be a bit different.  With the cheese, sour cream, and cayenne pepper, it's a cheesy creamy chowder with a little kick!  Lots of flavor and beyond a normal chowder flavor.

I love my husband. He tolerates me! Constantly asking what he wants for dinner, trying new recipes on him, asking him to "taste this!", shoving boiling hot right-out-of-the-crockpot soups at him to try. One day I was fretting over what to make for dinner. Out of nowhere, he cut through my chatter.

We have pasta a lot in my family, but when I want something that is a little beyond the traditional red sauce this zippy recipe hits the spot!  I use my Anything Chicken recipe for the cooked chicken.

Just like every year, the holidays are coming up faster than I can imagine.  Personally I try not to stress over the holiday season; if holiday cards don't get sent, the world won't end.  A gift doesn't get purchased, I just saved some money.  However, as you might imagine, the food during the holiday season is pretty important in our household.

Obviously, I love my crockpot. For many who know me, they know I love my coffee maker too! I thought I would share the other kitchen tools that I can't live without.

My husband doesn't do a lot of the cooking around the house, although he would like to.  He will actually ask me at times if he can make dinner as he really likes to cook and I don't often give him the chance.  He makes some things EXTREMELY well.   Chili is one of them.

This is a great hearty soup with loads of meat and beans and tons of flavor! My husband loves it. I have to admit, when I first made this I knew it would be okay, but wasn't quite sure it would be wonderful. I took one taste of the broth and was convinced - it's so good!!
