A classic improved by the crockpot. I used to love the flavors, but hated the toughness of the meat when cooked on the stove. The crockpot fixes that creating tender juicy meat!

Ingredients:
3poundsbeef round steak
2cups slicedmushrooms
1large choppedonion
1can beefbroth
4cloves mincedgarlic
2cans low sodiumcream of mushroom soup
116 oz package eggnoodles
116 oz containersour cream
4ozcream or Neufchatel cheese
2tbspcornstarch
Instructions:
Cut round steak into strips. Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Combine steak, mushrooms, onion, broth, garlic, and soups. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Stir in sour cream, cream cheese, and cornstarch, cook on high an additional 15-20 minutes. Serve over noodles.
Notes: This recipe makes a fairly thin sauce. If you prefer your sauce to be thicker, add the cornstarch with the meat, use ½ can beef broth, or use regular (not low sodium) condensed soups - they tend to be a thicker consistency.
