A classic improved by the crockpot. I used to love the flavors, but hated the toughness of the meat when cooked on the stove. The crockpot fixes that creating tender juicy meat!

Ingredients:
| 3 | pounds | beef round steak |
| 2 | cups sliced | mushrooms |
| 1 | large chopped | onion |
| 1 | can beef | broth |
| 4 | cloves minced | garlic |
| 2 | cans low sodium | cream of mushroom soup |
| 1 | 16 oz package egg | noodles |
| 1 | 16 oz container | sour cream |
| 4 | oz | cream or Neufchatel cheese |
| 2 | tbsp | cornstarch |

Instructions:
Cut round steak into strips. Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Combine steak, mushrooms, onion, broth, garlic, and soups. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Stir in sour cream, cream cheese, and cornstarch, cook on high an additional 15-20 minutes. Serve over noodles.

Notes: This recipe makes a fairly thin sauce. If you prefer your sauce to be thicker, add the cornstarch with the meat, use ½ can beef broth, or use regular (not low sodium) condensed soups - they tend to be a thicker consistency.
