I went from living alone to being a wife, stepmom of three and mother of one. I love my family and my children dearly and became a stay at home mom once my baby was born. I began delving into recipes and truly began to enjoy cooking, but always had some problems. How was I supposed to help my 10 year old stepdaughter with her homework, amuse my 1 year old daughter, and occupy my twin 4 year old stepsons, all while cooking dinner? My solution became
crockpot cooking.
Short of ordering a pizza (unhealthy!) or bringing home fast food (even worse!), crockpot cooking is by far the best stress-free way to put dinner on the table. I realized after experimenting with my crock pot I needed to share these recipes with others. When I worked full time, I lacked the time, energy, and resources to find and experiment with new recipes, therefore relying on the same recipes night after night.
I sincerely hope you enjoy the recipes throughout this website. Throw a few ingredients in the crockpot, turn it on, and come home to a house full of amazing aromas and a relaxing meal time. Nothing to do before dinner except spoon the meal onto the plate! Most crockpot recipes that I offer have less than 15 minutes prep time (some can be done the night before) which makes putting together a nutritious, delicious, healthy meal easier than ever!
