A Quick and Easy Snack Recipe

For those with no children, you'll have a great recipe for a snack or the office.  For those of you with children, you can probably relate to what I'm about to say....

Imagine - your child comes home from school and the schedule is normal; homework, after school snack, after school activities, chores, television, dinner, bathtime, and bedtime (not necessarily in that order).  Right before you say good night, your son or daughter sits up and exclaims, "I have to bring snacks for my entire class tomorrow!"

Sure.  So, what do you make that won't keep you up until 1AM slaving over home baked cookies fresh from your oven?  Here's an idea that is quick and easy:

I call it bark; by all means call it what you will.
Take one bags of chips - chocolate, white chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, or a combination.  You'll also need 3 cups of "stuff".  ("Stuff" being a crunchy snack such as cheerios, peanuts, chex, pretzels, or anything else that's crunchy.)

Melt the chips over a low flame, stirring frequently, remove from heat, mix in the "stuff" until coated.  Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and cool completely.  Store in an airtight container.  Enjoy!
