Recipe: Crab and Asparagus Pasta

Ingredients:
1large slicedonion
1bunch (about 3 cups) slicedasparagus
4cloves mincedgarlic
8ounces slicedcrimini mushrooms
6ounces flakedimitation crabmeat
8ouncesangel hair pasta
¼cupbutter
4ouncescream or Neufchatel cheese
2cloves mincedgarlic
¼tspblack pepper
¼cupshredded parmesan cheese
1cup choppedtomatoes
1cupmilk
¼cup fresh choppedbasil
Instructions:
In a large skillet, saute onion, asparagus, and garlic in 2T olive oil over medium heat. Once onion is softenend, add mushrooms and crab. Meanwhile, cook noodles as directed on package. For alfredo sauce, melt together butter, cream cheese, garlic, black pepper, and parmesan cheese in a large stockpot. Add tomatoes, milk, and basil. Add vegetables and noodles, simmer on low heat for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve with additional shredded parmesan cheese if desired.
