KitchenAid 7qt. Slow Cooker and Excellent Customer ServiceIt’s not very often that I get a chance to rave about fantastic customer service. I’m a critic, having worked for one of the top rated customer service companies in the country and enduring weeks of rigorous training, I’m not one to turn my head for mediocre customer service. However just recently, I found myself in a situation that allows me to seize this opportunity and give praise.
I’m tough on my crock pots and am the first to admit it. My last 7 quart slow cooker literally fell apart; the bottom casing separated itself from the heating element making it unsafe. I spent weeks researching a new slow cooker, and decided upon the KitchenAid 7 Quart Slow Cooker . I was not disappointed, until….
I had used my KitchenAid slow cooker pretty consistently a few days in a row, and even twice in one day. During one dinner clean up, I noticed a small crack on the bottom of the stoneware but didn’t think much of it. A few days later, I noticed an additional extremely large crack, running all the way around and all the way through the stoneware. I checked the heating element and found burnt food in the bottom, immediately set it aside and called KitchenAid.

Expecting a large drawn out automated menu (which seems to be the norm nowadays) I was pleased when all I had to do was tell them I was calling about a small appliance and then was directed to a representative. I found myself speaking with Zach, a courteous and helpful gentleman who took some general information as well as the product and serial number easily located on the bottom of the slow cooker. He immediately apologized for this occurrence and explained that a brand new slow cooker would be shipped to me free of charge. I asked numerous questions, making sure that it was the same model, that I would get the color I wanted, what to do with the old crock pot, and more. He continued to be pleasant and patient, answering each question as it was asked. I thanked Zach and hung up, excited to have received such quality customer service and anticipating my brand new slow cooker.
Although I was told my slow cooker would arrive in 7-10 business days, it actually arrived in five. The entire process was pleasant, easy, and hassle-free. I will sing praises for the

, not only for the appliance itself and the wonderful features it has, but the excellent customer service I received. Thank you
